At last night’s Membership Meeting, we were fortunate to have CWA District 6 Campaign Lead Kristie Veit speak about the CWA petition to protect our work and ensure that public funding supports fiber buildout in Texas. There are thousands of hard working union members working in the telecom industry that will have job protection from this fiber buildout. Satellite internet is slower, more costly, and inconsistent.
