Participative Management Employee Involvement is established in ARTICLE XI of the Agreement of General Application. The purpose of PMEI is to increase shareowner value and maximize employees’ satisfaction with their jobs’ content and operating environment by:
- Delegating authority, responsibility, and accountability to meet customers’ needs at the point of contact
- Adopting innovative methods of operation which modify traditional workplace relationships and
- Increasing Union and employee participation in local workplace decisions
